Joel Eriksson
Chief Technology Officer
Joel Eriksson is an internationally recognized cybersecurity expert, reverse engineer, and exploit developer with over 20 years of experience in offensive security. He has spoken at leading conferences including Black Hat, DEF CON, and RSA, and has competed at the highest levels in global Capture The Flag (CTF) events.
Joel gained wider public recognition in the recent Netflix documentary “Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies & Scandal”, where he lead the technical investigation into one of the most infamous data breaches in history. He has also been featured in major international media for some of his other work, such as in WIRED’s article “Security Guru Gives Hackers a Taste of Their Own Medicine” and Fast Company’s article “Meet The Man Who Solved The Mysterious Cicada 3301 Puzzle“.
In July 2024, Joel became the Chief Technology Officer at ARMA Instruments, where he leads the development of zero-trust, post-quantum secure communication systems for those who require uncompromising privacy.
