Abram Schermer

Abram Schermer is a seasoned IT entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in the technology and cybersecurity sectors. His career encompasses founding, leading, and advising companies, with a focus on strategic positioning, business development, and marketing.​

As the founder of system integrator Qwise, Abram successfully led the company until its acquisition by Vision IT Group in 2010. Following this, he became an independent investor and entrepreneur, supporting various IT and cybersecurity startups and established firms in enhancing their strategic and commercial capabilities. Notably, in 2015, Abram partnered with investment firm Holland Venture to invest in Avensus Netherlands B.V., a cloud and security specialist, where he provided strategic and commercial guidance to the management team. In 2017, Abram acquired SBC Solutions, a consultancy specializing in virtualization and Application Delivery, further expanding his portfolio in the IT services domain.

Abram joined ARMA Instruments as an Advisor to the Board, focusing on strategy, business development, and marketing. In his new role as Chief Commercial Officer, he leverages his extensive experience to drive ARMA’s commercial strategy, forge key partnerships, and expand the company’s global presence in the secure communications market.​
